Who are we?

All Derbyshire Investigation Agency has with two full time investigators who are able to call on a range of backup personnel and services when required. We both have "exemplary conduct" police service certificates.

Between us we have over 40 years of police experience in diverse roles including crime investigation, covert surveillance and undercover, traffic patrol, custody officer and administration of justice. We also have 10 years of commercial and private investigation experience across the whole range of services.

We have not sought to misrepresent ourselves or our services. It is very easy to produce a flashy website that implies you are all things to all clients. If you really are looking for a big prestige agency with a big backroom staff and big fees, look elsewhere. You will always receive a personal service from us. We only accept work that we can personally manage and undertake and when extra staff are needed for particular operations they operate under our direct supervision. We do not farm out your assignments to unqualified contractors.

We are registered under the Data Protection Act.

We hold a Consumer Credit Licence issued by the Office of Fair Trading in respect of Debt Collection and Consumer Hire (for long term equipment hire).

Our principal investigator is a full member of the Association of British Investigators. Members are required to demonstrate experience in the industry, pass an examination of competency and abide by a code of ethics. You can find more information at the ABI website here.
